The Wetland Centre offers hands-on experiences in nature, connecting visitors with wetlands, wildlife, and conservation through education and exploration.

The Wetland Centre was built in partnership by both Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) and the Province of Nova Scotia in 2006. Today, the centre serves as a community hub for hands-on learning about wetlands, wildlife and the environment—a place where Nova Scotians can connect with wetlands and natural world and learn how to protect them.
Here, park visitors can walk the Wetland and Marsh Trails, go critter dipping in the pond, bird watch from the blind, or learn about wildlife and the environment from the centre’s interpretive displays and Nature Lab. Each spring and fall, the centre is abuzz with excited students on one of our many field trips tailored to curriculum at every grade level.
Ducks Unlimited Canada is a passionate community of people who believe that nature is the foundation of strong communities, a prosperous economy and a sustainable future that supports the hopes and dreams of the next generation. Together, we conserve and restore some of the most valuable and threatened landscapes on the planet
